Sounds Like “Jay”

When not shaking my groove thang at a concert with my resigned (and oh-so tolerant) friends and family, I can be found scouring the library for my next good read or perusing the pantry for the last of the chocolate that I’ve previously hidden from myself.

In my past lives, I strongly suspect that I was a backup singer for a Motown musical group, a member of the British WAAF during WWII, and a cabaret dancer in 1920’s Paris. In this life, however, I am a mother, wife, writer, dancer, and humble student of both the ordinary and the Divine.

In all lives, I am a survivor.

I own no clothing that requires ironing and prefer to laugh out loud as much as possible. And when I’m not unraveling things here, I write professionally over at Jai-Writes.com
